Scripophily is the study and collection of stock and bond certificates. A specialized field of numismatics, scripophily is an interesting area of collecting due to both the inherent beauty of some historical documents as well as the interesting historical context of each document. Some stock certificates are excellent examples of engraving. Occasionally, an old stock document will be found that still has value as a stock in a successor company.

My Scrip-o-phily page on Facebook. I have named it ” WorthlessStockCerticates “. This is where I post articles or images relating to scripophily. Kinda like a bookmark of links to share with others whom may chanced upon the page but it will definitely serves as a very useful bookmark for myself.
As this is a new hobby, I do not have much to share but I believe it will grow over time. So meanwhile, here are some which I have already collected.
Addition to Addiction
Added a few more domains to my collection. I should have collected close to 50 domain names by now. The last count was 48. Five was added over the weekend. Did however gave up some though. My one and only host to all my domain names is none other than GoDaddy. They are good but not perfect, if you know what I mean. Anyway, with each new domain that you ordered from them, you could almost put up an instant ‘start’ page. Cool template that you can play around with. Interesting features and widget are now by default, in the system. A far better look and feel than what they used to offer. Take a look if you want.
HPI Baja 5B
Did up this kit a while back when I was still at the last Hobby Studio. The kit was build up over time and photos were taken progressively as it was built. This kit was one of the popular RC kit around. Newer models were developed after this. Search the web and you probably will find lots of articles and videos of the same or variants of it.

Between August 2009 to August 2010 I did a pet project on Betta, a type of Siamese fighting fish. Had this idea of an online betting game where live Betta are put into a glass pond and compete in fights. I knew it was wrong morally but then it was an idea that popped up and I wanted to find out how far I could go with it.
After registering a domain and signing up for a hosting package, I started to build up the content. Using my 3D software, I created a hexagonal shape glass tank. I wanted the whole system to be as automatic as it can be, remotely control if at all possible. Can not recall exactly how I did it but I was able to screen live images of my pet fish via my site. I was quite excited about the whole concept but reality soon set in. Betting on the lives of Betta through a fight was not at all the right thing to do. Don’t think I was sending the right message to my Kidos either.
Anyway, gathered some technical know-hows and learned some lesson out of this whole endeavor. Unable to afford the time to expand the concept, I decided to shelf the project. Till now its just another pet project of mine.

Instant Me, Instant U
This site was initiated as a page to feature instant noodle. It was very much a hobby thingy with no specific goal in mind. I simply like the name ” IMIU “, what it represents and the way it looks on facebook. One thing lead to another, I decided also to pin down the domain name on the world wide web. Again it was still for the fun and “satisfaction” of owning something on the world arena. Purchased through GoDaddy.com, “ www.imiu.asia ” and “ www.imiu.co ” are both now registered as my domain collection.
Over the course of the last few months, I have also posted articles or information on other food related items, beverages and equipment inclusive. With this new addition and the potential to cover more than just noodles, I felt that it was right time for some changes. The focus would extend beyond just noodles. IMIU as it was initially portrayed as ” Instant Mee ( noodle ), Instant U ( You ) “, should represent ” Instant Me, Instant U “. I hope the ” Me ” will eventually live up to the notion of us being there for “U” ( You ) instantly.
In line with this new thought, I decided to create a Concept Store for IMIU. The uniqueness of it is the way I would like the store be run. Based on the principle of :
1) OMO ( One-Man-Operation ). This is an old concept but it shall formed the basis of how the store operates.
2) Offer Variety – Flavour, Country Of Origin, Price etc
3) Informative and Interactive Selling
4) Create Awareness through Social Networking Platform
